Biography
Since 2019 Tuur Leeuwenberg works as an assistant professor at the Julius Center of the University Medical Center Utrecht. Before that, he conducted his PhD research in machine learning for natural language processing at the LIIR Research Lab of the Computer Science Department, Katholieke Universiteit Leuven.
His primary background and research expertise is in natural language processing methodology, with a special focus on NLP for routine care text (e.g., clinical notes or discharge summaries from electronic health records).
