Biography

Tessa Kos graduated in Technical Medicine from Delft University of Technology in January 2022. Her master thesis was conducted at the Erasmus MC Department of Plastic, Reconstructive and Hand Surgery and was titled 'Extended Reality for Preoperative Planning of Autologous Breast Reconstructions'. 

In March 2022, she started her PhD at the Image Sciences Institute in combination with the UMC Utrecht Department of Neurosurgery. Her research focuses on the applicability and integration of innovative imaging (visualization) approaches for preoperative planning and intraoperative navigation for neurosurgery.
