Biography

Ruurd Kuiper is an Assistant Professor at the Julius Center for Health Sciences and Primary Care, UMC Utrecht, the Netherlands. He has a background in Life Sciences and Biomedical Engineering, and holds a doctorate in Medical Image Analysis for Orthopaedics. His research at the Julius Center focuses on the development, validation and implementation of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) innovations for diverse medical purposes.
