Biography

Prof. Dr. Lotty Hooft is Professor of Evidence Synthesis and Knowledge Translation in Healthcare at the Julius Center, UMC Utrecht, and Director of Cochrane Netherlands. She heads the Department of Epidemiology and Health Economics and the international MSc in Epidemiology program. With more than two decades of experience, she is an internationally recognized expert in systematic reviews, diagnostic and prognostic test evaluation, and guideline development, and has helped shape key reporting and risk-of-bias standards including TRIPOD, STARD, and PROBAST, as well as the (de)implementation of evidence-based healthcare practices.
