Biography

I am a pharmacist graduated from the University of Costa Rica, back there I began my career as a formulation scientist, specializing in conventional dosage forms. My interest in cutting-edge drug delivery technologies led me to pursue an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master's Degree in Nanomedicine for Drug Delivery, coordinated by the University of Paris. Currently, as a PhD candidate, my research focuses on optimizing gene-editing techniques such as base and prime editing, and developing lipid nanoparticles as mRNA delivery systems to advance innovative therapies in precision medicine.
