PHD Candidate - OIO
Biography
I am a PhD candidate at the Real World Evidence Team, Department of Data Science and Biostatistics, Utrecht UMC. My PhD is about causal inference with observational data and its applications in the field of pharmacoepidemiology. Our focus is to compare the relative merits of some causal inference methods and/or frameworks (e.g., target trial emulation) as applied to the study of safety and effectiveness of drugs using large-scale electronic health records.
Previously, I graduated from a 2-year Research Master's in Statistics and Research Methods. Even previously, I worked on survey methodology, studying measurement error and measurement comparability of survey questions using latent-variable models.
