Biography

Burak Konya is a medical doctor and a PhD candidate in ischemic stroke. Together with his supervisors Bart van der Worp (UMC Utrecht) and Bart Emmer (Amsterdam UMC), Burak is currently engaged in the establishment of a stroke registry within the CONTRAST consortium aiming to deepen our understanding of endovascular treatment in ischemic stroke. This will ultimately improve patient outcomes and enhance quality of care.
