Biography

Dr Saber Amin Yavari is Associate Professor at the Department of Orthopedics, University Medical Center Utrecht (UMCU) and Principal Investigator at the Regenerative Medicine Center Utrecht. He received his PhD degree in Biomechanical Engineering from the Delft University of Technology, the Netherlands, in 2014. Since 2015 and after joining UMC Utrecht, his research mainly focused on the development of multifunctional coatings to solve orthopaedic implants challenges such as implant associated-infection and limited osseointegration. He has published more than 50 peer-review journal and conference papers which has been highly recognized and cited.
