Biography
I’m interested in vascular physiology and hemodynamics visualized using advanced MRI techniques combined with physiological stimuli. Also, i've grown a passion for metabolic imaging based in spectroscopy. My long term vision is to combine these incredible techniques to seach for a more complete picture of cerebral metabolism. I’m looking to collaborate on projects related to vascular reactivity, temporal aspects of the hemodynamic response in health and disease and the combination of multi-parametric data for tissue classification.
Research aim
Our research lines incorporate inventions of MR technology to be able to see the unseen for advancing medicine. Our clinical research focus areas are cancer, dementia, cardiovascular, stroke and MSK.
Go to groupResearch aim
To develop and apply advanced MRI methods for (pre)clinical research on neuronal and cerebrovascular biology in order to: 1) unravel critical aspects of brain impairment and recovery 2) advance brain treatments (focus: cerebrovascular diseases).
