Research aim

Medical physics radiology and nuclear medicine researches and develops nuclear medicine and X-ray imaging technology for diagnostic purposes and to guide interventions.

About us

We research and develop imaging technologies including CT, x-ray, PET and SPECT imaging to improve patient care. Important examples our methods to realize personalized dosimetry in radionuclide therapy and techniques for acute stroke CT imaging. One specific development is an in-house hybrid C-arm that can reduce throughput times of radioembolization for liver cancer from 1 week to 2 hours.
