During the sixth edition of Utrecht Science Week, you’ll get a unique glimpse behind the scenes at Utrecht Science Park. Visitors will be granted access to facilities at leading partner organisations in Utrecht Science Park that are normally closed to the public.
Here, more than 55,000 students and 31,000 staff work together to develop solutions in the fields of science, health and sustainability. It’s a unique place where education, research and entrepreneurship come together.

• Join us on Friday 25 September in the afternoon for Juliette Legler’s opening lecture on the impact of endocrine-disrupting chemicals and microplastics.
• On the evening of Friday 25 September, the Betweterfestival will also take place at TivoliVredenburg, featuring, amongst others, Sabine Fuchs, Professor of Metabolic Diseases and Innovative Therapies, and Peter de Keizer, who conducts research into the molecular causes of ageing.
• On Tuesday 29 September, visit a vaccine factory or attend a lecture on how our immune system works on Wednesday 30 September.
• On Sunday 4 October, bring your children, nephews or nieces along, as it’s Science Weekend, with experiments, demonstrations and guided tours for young visitors at the WKZ.
