Venue: Conference room of David de Wied building, Universiteitsweg 999, across from UMC Utrecht
(50 seats maximum)

Duration: Arrival 9.30, start at 10.00, and drinks at 16.00, so attendants from across NL can plan one
full day including travel. Cost 25 Euro to cover coffee, lunch & drinks.

Aims:
–  Reinforce and extend the relatively small and collegial community of glycan researchers
–  Identify recent progress and novel technologies from unpublished work
–  Asses new opportunities for joint work and grant proposals

Target audience: Immunologists, chemists and clinicians with active work on glycans in bacterial
physiology, infection, pathogenesis, and antibody action

Keynote speaker Prof. Gestur Vidarsson (Sanquin, Amsterdam) – “How can virus glycoimmunology inspire research into bacterial infection”

Invited international speaker: Dr. Alexandra Tsouka (PEPperPRINT GmbH, Heidelberg) – “Generation of glycan-related Microarrays via cLIFT technology for antibody profiling and biomarker discovery”

Ample opportunities for young and mid-career scientists to present in different talk formats or poster.
