The MultiPlex Core Facility of the UMC Utrecht holds 2 Luminex FlexMAP 3D machines with dedicated PCs and software.
In our facility we have 194 in house developed and validated antibody pairs attached to specialized Luminex magnetic beads. These are specific for human protein, such as cytokines, chemokines, adipokines, growth factors and matrix proteins. In addition, we can run commercially available kits or single tests for analytes from human, mouse or other species.
We can measure in samples of blood, plasma, serum, dry bloodspots, synovial fluid, liquor, ocular fluid, urine, semen, middle ear effusions, sweat, skin tape strips and culture supernatant. Per type of sample we have specific pretreatments developed.
In the case that a new analytes is preferred by the customer, we can design an antibody pair on an additional Luminex beads for a fee.
We have a customer-friendly setup. The biological material is handed in and after analysis the customer receives the results.
