Induced Pluripotent Stem Cell Facility (iPSC)

About

Induced pluripotent cells (iPSC) technology provides the opportunity to create any cell type from any patient to be used for human in vitro disease model research or tissue engineering, allowing for the development of personalized treatment strategies. The iPSC facility offers generation of iPSCs from patient blood or tissue-derived cell samples. We provide differentiation of iPSCs into various cell types and generation of different 3D microtissues and other miniaturized tissue/organ models for disease modelling.

Experience

We have 10 years of experience generating iPSC lines, differentiating iPSCs, and developing in vitro disease models using the latest technology and in-house developed standard operating procedures. Since 2015 we offer training to users on iPSC culture, their differentiation towards various lineages, and model development.

Support for extended physiological characterization

As functional characterization is an essential aspect of disease model qualification, we further offer support for extended physiological characterization of disease models, with a focus on cardiovascular.
