Empowering the Next Generation of Immunologists
Our goal is to prepare the current and next generation of immunologists for the data-driven future of translational immunology.
To this end, we organize:
- Bi-weekly Computational immunology seminars. Every other Tuesday from 12:15-13:15 in WKZ room KC01.063 and via Teams. If you are interested to join, please send an e-mail to cic@umcutrecht.nl
- Invited lectures for specialists in the field
- Training and guidance for PhD students and post-docs in immunology, both for those doing purely computational projects and for those with an experimental or clinical background doing projects with a dry-lab component.
- We have also developed the Infection & Immunity Master’s course “Computational Immunology”, to train students how to use computational techniques in immunology, including biostatistics, big data analysis and mathematical modelling. This 3-week full-time course is typically given in November/December and is partially open to employees.
