In-house collaborative research support

The Biofabrication facility provides in-house collaborative research support to a wide range of technologies and training.

The available equipment is divided into two segments of use cases: Prototyping and Bioprinting.

Bioprinting

Extrusion-based bioprinting (EBBP)

The following extrusion (bio)printers are available for use:

Melt Electrowriting systems (MEW-systems)

Laser-Induced Forward Transfer (LIFT)

The Next Generation Bioprinter – Research (NGB-R, from Poietis) is a cutting-edge bioprinter that combines Laser Induced Forward Transfer (LIFT) technology with extrusion bioprinting.

Volumetric (bio)printing

The following volumetric (bio)printers are available for use:

  • Tomolite (Readily 3D)
  • Polychrochromatic printer (Readily 3D)
  • In-house built system

Prototyping

Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)
