Science Communication Advisor
As a science communication advisor with a background in journalism, I oversee communication efforts related to paediatrics. My responsibilities include advising researchers on science communication issues, writing articles about paediatric research, and developing science communication policies. I also help organise science-focused outreach events and work to position the Wilhelmina Children's Hospital and UMC Utrecht as an important research institution and a pleasant place for children and their parents. My main goal is to make scientific knowledge accessible to different target groups, thereby promoting transparency, trust, collaboration and the valorisation of scientific results.
