Program Manager
As manager of the strategic research program Cancer at UMC Utrecht, as well as managing director of Life Sciences at Utrecht University, I oversee the development and implementation of two multidisciplinary research programs. With an academic background in medical biology from Utrecht University, followed by a PhD and postdoctoral experience at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience and Amsterdam UMC, I bring broad scientific expertise to the role. My previous positions as clinical manager at Stichting Huisartsenlaboratorium, scientific manager at Sanofi-Aventis, and research manager at CTMM and Lygature have provided me with in-depth insight into both the academic and industrial sides of medical research.
