Waiting lists are growing and healthcare staff are under pressure, while most diagnostic imaging still takes place in the hospital. REIMAGINE IMAGING, a national public-private program, wants to change that. On 10 November, the program celebrates its official launch in Eindhoven.
REIMAGINE IMAGING develops autonomous MRI and ultrasound technology that brings diagnostics closer to the patient. This fits the Dutch MedTech 2035 vision. The program is coordinated by UMC Utrecht, Maastricht University, Philips and High Tech NL, with a PPP subsidy from Health~Holland.
The launch event brings together clinicians, researchers, industry, policymakers and SMEs who work on autonomous diagnostics. You will meet the four project consortia, hear from the program partners and connect with peers across healthcare, technology and policy. Together, you help shape the direction of this national program.
The afternoon includes keynotes, two panel discussions, an exhibition floor and pitches from the four consortia:
Speakers include Nico van Meeteren, Executive Director and Secretary General of Health~Holland, and Jochen Cals, Professor of Effective Diagnostics in Family Medicine at Maastricht University. Michèle van der Kemp moderates the day.
