We are happy to share our recent paper in Annals of Neurology “Intranasal Wharton's Jelly-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cell Therapy, Alone or in Conjunction With Therapeutic Hypothermia, Alleviates Neonatal Hypoxic-Ischemic Brain Injury in Mice”. Our work demonstrates that intranasal WJ-MSCs reach the brain to promote neurorepair and reduce neuroinflammation, ultimately leading to the treatment of brain injury and motor deficits. This research provides important preclinical evidence supporting MSC-based combination therapies for improving outcomes in affected newborns.
